Another Toad Takes In the Sun

Our early spring weather has brought out the amphibians in the pond. Bright sunny day.

Dawn On A Rainy Spring Day

It rained this morning with some thunder. Now the sun is trying to come out by peaking under the clouds on the horizon. It will disappear but for a moment today it can be seen.

Spring In South Western Ohio

Seven straight days of record breaking temps has everything blooming early this year. Now the fruit growers are worried about the usual late spring frost. Personnally I don't think it will happen unless the prevailing winds this year change.

An Early Visit

Today we had an early visitor to the pond next to our home. It looked like it is a young Heron but that didn't stop it from being an excellent fisherman. I know they don't really leave the area but it is unusual to see one here this early.
