Shot at Dus sk

I've downloaded the beta version of Adobe's Lightroom 5 and so far I think it is great.  This started out as a color photo taken at dusk.  There is a new tool in the basic editing section that allows you to adjust individual areas of a photo in contrast, exposure, whites, saturation, whatever you want to do. What I really like about this photo was the lighting on the pond and the street lights on the grass.

Lightroom 5 Beta

I downloaded the Adobe beta version of LR5 to check out the improvements.  I have been using my LR3.4 version more and more.  I really do like it and the organizational aspect.  I'm going to put up three car shots from 2011.  All have been edited in LR5.  I have watched some tutorials about the program so I will say I haven't even touched the surface of this newer version.  And, no, these are not shot in HDR, all hand held.

Black Porsche wheel shot.  Starburst on back wheel was not put there by me, but the lens and lighting.

50 something Chevy if my memory serves me correctly, Beep Beep!

Looks like HDR but not.  Didn't know I was going here until it was done and my son-in-law pointed it out to me.  Good eye Greg.....he also shoots a mean shot with a camera.  I say, I say, the boy has talent ;-)

Departure and the Silhouette in Flight

I posted the arrival of this plane in my last posting.  It was a bright sunny day and I caught it between the blades of a prop driven plane.  Here, on a overcast day it is heading down the tarmac to line up for take-off.

And now in the air all you can see is the silhouette of the pilot as he heads to his next destination.

Weatherman Got It Right

Now it's time for the weatherman to get it wrong.......sunny and 72 deg.

 Droplets on the deck table.
And the pond.
