Thanks for the Redirection

This is what happens when you get redirected on a detour due to a presidential speech. The previous post showed where we ended up on this outing but this will show the historical town of Lebanon, OH. It's noted for its antiques as well as The Golden Lamb restaurant. Lots of churches of various designs, lots of old buildings dating back over 100 yrs. and lots of majestic old trees. Next door, just up the road a few miles is Waynesville, OH. It is considered the midwest capital of antiquing but the town is not nearly as cool as Lebanon. Irons Fruit Farm for Apples

The wife and I went to Irons Fruit Farm yesterday to get apples and cider. I had been there before but not at this time of the year. I knew they had stuff for kids like hayrides but not the animals.

Blocking Down Town

As well as blocking the main drag through the town of Lebanon, OH at 48 N/S and 123 E/W, the entrance to The Golden Lamb ( http://www.goldenlamb.com/pages/history/ ) was interfered with. The Republicans use the GL as a backdrop every presidential election year. This year is no difference. The blockade started yesterday and he showed up today at 5 PM. We came across this on our way to Irons Fruit Farm southeast of Lebanon off SR123.

Frosty moisture is in the air and the colors are starting to really stand out. Maybe another week and you could say they have peaked here in southern Ohio.

This Says Fall

Nothing says Fall like pumpkin pie other than maybe pumpkin spiced coffee. This beats Starbucks all the way back to the west coast. Along with a new back splash (self installed ) and counter top, I thought this would be a fitting close to a project that went well....all considering.

Fall, Time of Necessity and Beauty

Color for us humans and the setting of seeds and fruit for the wildlife.
